Tiger

Blends with the African plains,

Fur as smooth as a quilt,

Chasing him is a tail,

Painted orange and black.

Behind his dazzling colours,

Lies hidden ferocity.

Bended claws stained with blood,

An eager eye watching for prey.

His feet are as agile as a hare,

His body is full of spring,

He will pounce and tear apart,

An unsuspecting morsel.

A creature most hunted,

yes, most hunted,

A creature most hunted,

For his coat of patterned fur.
